meet | LIANA

Liana Serio, founder of LT&B, grew up in a home full of artists in East Village, New York City. Her mother and aunt are in the theater arts and film, and her father is a business owner and international jazz piano player. Her family played a vital role in molding her and encouraged her to explore creativity at an early age. 

As a teenager, Liana's artistic talents were recognized upon her accepted to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, the top ranked performing arts high school in NYC, where her father and aunt also attended. Shortly after, Liana, her twin brother, and mother relocated to Los Angeles where her mother further pursued her film career. Later, Liana delved into music and other creative expressions, but found her niche in 2018 when she discovered her true passion for chocolate artistry. Inspired by her love for creating, desserts, and her desire to bring joy to others, she embarked on a journey to share her delectable creations with the world and launched her online gourmet gift shop, Liana Treat & Berry, in 2021.

Since its inception, her business has experienced growing success and recognition. Liana's unique chocolate creations have captured the attention of renowned brands, landing her opportunities to create for Mercedes Benz, HBO Max, the Oscars, and Emmy’s events. Her dedication to quality and innovation has led to numerous sponsorships and collaborations, further cementing her passion and willingness to expand her brand.

Liana's chocolate artistry has also been gifted at exclusive celebrity events in the Los Angeles area, such as: season 2 wrap party for Peacock’s original Bel Air, cast and crew of FX original Snowfall, private screening party for The Bay, and Ms. Marvel’s star Anjali Bhimani’s "I Am Fun Size and So Are You" book launch party. Her brand was also featured on The Talk, CBS, as the "Must Have Giveaway", allowing her to showcase her creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to a wider audience. 

Liana is a proud member of VICA (Valley Industry Commerce Association) and GLAAACC (Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce) and had the honor of attending and creating for the Women in the C-Suite event. The event awarded U.S. representative Maxine Waters for her outstanding work in the community and was comprised of multiple panels with 200-300 women entrepreneurs and industry leaders. 

Upon furthering her business ventures, Liana is eager to expand her knowledge and is studying entrepreneurship certification at Cornell University. During her down time, she enjoys exercising, cooking, watching movies with her kids and fiancé, going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her three dogs, Chili Bean, Ryder, and Sha’Challa.

Liana attributes her success to her passion for creativity, the support of her family and fiancé, her friends, the unwavering love she has for her children, and her desire to build a lasting legacy. She says, "Now the world is my LaGuardia" and aims to continue on her journey and to be an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and creatives alike.
